Patronus! 9/52- Witches and Wizards I shot a wedding this weekend with Cameron John Sarradet . And again, between school and work, I haven't been able to find much time to shoot myself. Since I lost my remote, doing self-portraits has been incredibly difficult. So I asked if he would model for me, for the concept. He agreed! He told me to checked out Boy_Wonder's similar work when I mentioned I had no idea how I was going to do this. So I check out his tutorial, and it helped a ton! So thanks very much to him and also the brush creators in the tutorial! And huge thanks to Cameron for modeling! And now I REALLY nead a picture of me like this! Instagram: ericaraephoto Facebook! This past week I got to shoot with Joel Robison, aka Boy Wonder. His kindness and selflessness surpassed even his genuine online persona, and my heart melted when I hugged him. He did a photo of me and I did one of him, pictured here, and it was a dream come true! I shot with so many photographers last week and it was really and truly a transformational experience, getting to meet so many new and kind people. This picture is adding to my series "Fears & Fairytales". This is a portrait I took a while back, when i first got my new camera, some of you might remember me putting it on my Facebook page. I think it fits better with my work better now than it did before. I'm here back in Australia listening to Matt Corby, way too early in the morning but I am severely jetlagged haha. Coming back home was great but also extremely depressing at the same time. I'll be back in the states to see everyone again in no time, I'm a determined kid. :) Anyway, I hope you are all well. Even though I'm back home, I'm going to try and keep up my roll of having new faces all the time in my stream, it's made me such a better photographer.
