The death of childhood, of innocence... the death of imagination. The small things buried just beneath the surface.
I had originally shot this as a self portrait, but decided to reshoot it with my 5 year old cousin, Aubrey. I've had this idea for a while and was very lucky to come across a location that fit it perfectly in the woods near my house; a perfect wall of dirt, carved out by a now dried up river.
